Video chat lets you connect face-to-face with another user on Hornet. You can turn your camera and microphone on or off at any time during the call.
Who can I video chat with?
You can only video chat with users you've already exchanged messages with. This means you need to have sent at least one message to that user and received at least one message back before you can start a video chat.
How to start a video chat
- Open a chat with the other user.
- Tap the video camera icon at the top right corner of the chat screen.
- Wait for the other user to accept or decline the call.
Once connected, you can continue chatting while seeing each other through video.
Privacy during video chat
- Screen recordings and screenshots are not possible during video chat.
- Video chats are not moderated. One-on-one video chats are completely private between you and the other user, and Hornet does not have visibility into their content.
