Expiring photos let you share images that automatically disappear after they're opened. They're designed for extra privacy: the recipient can view the photo only once, and it disappears after 10 seconds. Screenshots are disabled while viewing an expiring photo.
How to send an expiring photo
- Open a chat.
- Tap the + (plus) icon.
- Select Send Expiring Photo.
- Choose a photo from your library or your recently sent photos.
- Confirm to send.
Once sent, the photo will vanish after being viewed. Neither you nor the recipient will be able to access it again.
Is there a daily limit?
All users get a limited number of expiring photos per day. The available count resets automatically every 24 hours. Members can send expiring photos with no daily limit.
